ESOFT Metro Campus is looking for an Assistant Lecturer in IT to teach modules, run computer labs, and prepare course materials. In this role, you’ll supervise practical sessions, maintain lab hardware, and troubleshoot technical glitches alongside the Corporate IT team. You will also grade assessments, update student records, and help organize workshops. The Job

  • Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in IT, Networking, and related modules.
  • Prepare lecture materials, practical exercises, and assessments.
  • Conduct and supervise networking and computer laboratory sessions.
  • Support the maintenance, configuration, and smooth operation of computer and networking laboratory equipment.
  • Coordinate with the Corporate IT Department to troubleshoot and resolve laboratory-related technical issues.
  • Assist with marking, uploading results, and maintaining academic records.
  • Support academic events, workshops, curriculum updates, and quality assurance activities.

The Person

  • HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Networking, Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge and practical expertise in Computer Networking and Network Administration.
  • Previous experience in networking, computer laboratory maintenance, or IT support will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in teaching, lecturing, networking, or IT-related work will be an added advantage.
  • Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, lecturers, and technical teams.
