Job Summary:
The University of Colombo is seeking a precise Quantity Surveyor to manage costs and financial administration for university infrastructure projects. You will oversee budget estimations, procurement documentation, and contract management to ensure development projects are completed within budget and meet institutional standards.
Responsibilities:

Prepare preliminary cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and comprehensive tender documents.

Analyze construction progress, evaluate contractor interim claims, and certify valuations for payment.

Monitor variations during project lifecycles and conduct final account settlements.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized university.

Minimum of 2–3 years of post-qualifying experience in civil construction or institutional projects.

Proficiency in cost estimation software and excellent commercial negotiation skills.
