ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE
Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely processing of financial transactions.

Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, reconciliations and budgets/forecasts.

Oversee accounts payable, receivable and petty cash functions.

Assist in consolidation and cash flow management.

Prepare monthly tax schedules and statutory filings, including VAT, SSCL, and WHT.

Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, banks and regulatory authorities.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Support the Finance Manager in achieving departmental objectives and reporting deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills
-
Degree in Finance/Accounting with part qualification in CA (Corporate level completed) , CIMA, ACCA, CMA, or an equivalent professional qualification.

3–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with SAP exposure.

Knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance (VAT, SSCL, WHT), with proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting systems.

Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a high level of professionalism, integrity, team work, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
– Proximity to Homagama will be considered an added advantage.
