An extraordinary gazette notification was published on September 08, 2026, by the Government of Sri Lanka. The notice officially communicates a change in board membership within the Presidential Secretariat framework.
The notification concerns Mrs. R. G. S. H. Seneviratne, who served as a valuer member of the Board of Review for Appeals. She was originally appointed to this position by the President.
Her appointment was made under Section 19(1) of the Land Acquisition Act, No. 09 of 1950, as amended by Act No. 28 of 1964. Mrs. Seneviratne has officially resigned from her board membership with effect from May 21, 2026.
The formal notification was issued by order of the President and signed by Dr. N. S. Kumanayake, Secretary to the President. It originated from the Presidential Secretariat located in Colombo.
