Job Summary:
The Department of Government Information is seeking a capable Technical Officer to join our team in Colombo. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and managing the technical, broadcasting, and IT infrastructure essential for seamless state media dissemination.
Responsibilities:

Maintain and service communication systems, broadcasting setups, and digital media equipment.

Provide day-to-day technical and IT support across various institutional divisions.

Monitor hardware networks and ensure minimal downtime during official media operations.
Qualifications:

Diploma or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Information Technology, Electronics, or Telecommunications.

Prior hands-on experience in hardware maintenance, networking, or studio equipment handling.

Strong troubleshooting abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive work ethic.
