Requirements
- Pass GCE A/L in Biology or Mathematics stream or equivalent qualification
- Prior experience in eye examinations
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technology
- Prior experience in healthcare or customer service will be an added advantage
Areas of Responsibility
- Assist ophthalmologists and optometrists in patient examinations
- Perform preliminary eye tests such as visual acuity and refraction under supervision
- Support in handling and maintaining ophthalmic equipment
- Guide patients with care, ensuring a comfortable and professional experience
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
