EXECUTIVE OFFICER – SYSTEM AUDIT

BOARD AUDIT COMMITTEE

The Board Audit Committee is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated and result-oriented individual with a high level of integrity to fill the vacancy of Executive Officer – System Audit.

Job Role:

Review operational and business application systems of the Bank to evaluate internal controls, reliability of data, and operational efficiency.
Evaluate the adequacy of existing internal controls in dynamic computer application environments.
Formulate risk-based System Audit Programs, execute plans effectively, and maintain proper documentation.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments on existing and upcoming computer application systems and networks.
Ensure data security, business continuity, and disaster recovery processes align with regulatory and industry standards.
Draft concise, factual, and timely audit reports with constructive recommendations.

Applicants’ Profile:

Fully or partly qualified in a recognized professional IT/Security qualification (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP, CEH) or hold a Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline from a recognized University.
Possession of a banking qualification (completion of AIB) or a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CIMA) would be a distinct advantage.
Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in Information Systems Auditing, IT Security, or IT Risk Management, preferably within a banking or financial institution.
Strong knowledge of operating systems, database management systems, network infrastructure, and cyber security concepts.
Proficiency in using Data Analytics tools (e.g., ACL, IDEA, SQL) for audit analytics.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, report-writing, and communication skills.
Age preferably below 35 years.
