Executive – Finance (Accounts Payable)
We are happy to extend the opportunity to a self-motivated individual with commitment, initiative and enthusiasm, to join our Finance Team and gain the exposure required to secure an eminent position in the corporate world.
Job Responsibilities:
- Transaction Management: Verify Accounts Payable (AP) related documentation and ensure accurate recording of transactions in ERP system.
- Month-End Closing Accuracy: Execute AP reconciliations, prepare accruals, and generate reports to ensure timely and accurate monthly financial closing.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for supplier queries regarding payables and payments.
- Efficiency & Compliance: Process invoices effectively, conduct compliance checks to ensure adherence to internal policies, and identify opportunities to streamline AP procedures.
- Team Support: Provide guidance to the finance team and assist in the development of enhanced AP workflows.
Candidate Profile:
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience in handling high-volume Accounts Payable operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential; experience with ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Strong reconciliation and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Candidates residing in or around Pugoda, Kirindiwela, Delgoda, Biyagama, and Weliweriya are encouraged to apply.
