Job Title: Electrician

Job Summary:
The University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC) is seeking a skilled Electrician to join its maintenance team. You will ensure the safety, efficiency, and continuous operation of all electrical installations, backup power networks, and server-room power infrastructures across the campus.
Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, lighting systems, and distribution boards.

Inspect generators, UPS systems, and air conditioning power lines to prevent downtime.

Respond to electrical emergencies, diagnose faults, and ensure compliance with safety codes.
Qualifications:

National Certificate in Technology (NCT) or NVQ Level 4 certification in Electrical Wiring/Installation.

Minimum of 2 years of experience handling commercial or institutional building electrical systems.

Sound knowledge of electrical safety practices, blue-print reading, and diagnostic tools.
