Job Title: Chartered Accountant

Job Summary:
Sampath Bank PLC is seeking a highly analytical and qualified Chartered Accountant to join our corporate finance division in Colombo. You will oversee financial reporting, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance, ensuring the bank’s fiscal health and adherence to banking governance standards.
Responsibilities:

Prepare and verify comprehensive financial statements, corporate tax returns, and regulatory reports.

Conduct risk assessments, capital adequacy evaluations, and internal financial audits.

Provide strategic financial counsel to management for budgeting, forecasting, and investment planning.
Qualifications:

Full professional membership with CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, or CIMA.

Minimum of 3 years of post-qualifying experience, preferably within a banking or financial institution.

Deep understanding of LKAS, SLFRS, and Central Bank regulations.
