The Pre Sales Engineer – Computer Channels is responsible for supporting the design and delivery of end‑to‑end commercial technology solutions across the computer channel. The role involves understanding customer requirements, preparing technical proposals, and working closely with sales and internal teams to ensure compliant, value‑driven solutions and successful customer adoption.

Job Profile

•Understand customer requirements and recommend the most appropriate Dell commercial solutions (Laptops, Desktops, Workstations, Monitors).

•Prepare detailed technical proposals, BOQs, and solution architectures aligned with Dell standards.

•Ensure all submissions are accurate, technically compliant, and meet customer expectations.

•Support the sales team by providing value-added technical insights to improve conversion rates.• Participate in customer meetings, demos, and technical discussions to drive solution acceptance.

•Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and execution of proposed solutions.

•Maintain updated knowledge on Dell’s latest product portfolio and industry trends.

•Assist in responding to tenders, RFPs, and technical evaluations.

Person Profile

•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

•Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a Pre Sales, Technical Sales, or Solutions Engineering role, preferably within the IT hardware or computer channel industry.

•Professional certifications from Dell Technologies or other relevant OEMs will be an added advantage.

•Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to present technical solutions clearly.

•Strong customer and relationship management skills, with the ability to work closely with sales teams and clients.
